The Proposal ♥

I was waiting around for Jon to get back for lunch. Of course for the few hours he was at work all morning, I missed him like crazy :) I kept checking the clock, watching every minute pass lol.  Then Jon walks in a hour early! I was so happy to see him :) He looks so good in his boots and cammies! So I was standing on his boots hugging him, and noticed he had a bunch of stuff in his pockets. So me, being in a silly happy mood, asked Jon, "do you have any bubble gum or toys for me?" lol (Not knowing that silly question would be forever remembered!!! lol) So I put my hands in his pockets and sure enough its just his wallet and phone and papers.  So Jon says check my other pocket (those cammie pants have a million pockets!) He takes my hand and I quickly check his pocket (still completely clueless anything is about to happen!) And I say, "Aw man no bubble gum :( Just as Jon pulls out a ring box, and slowly opens it and gets down on one knee!! I'm freaking out and repeatedly saying "Are you joking?" and then of course I cry! It was so perfect and so romantic :) Jon takes my hand and asks me to marry him and of course I said yes!!! :)

6 days and counting!!!

In 6 days I will be flying out to San Diego CA to spend a week with Jon!!! I'm finally starting to get really excited!!! I have never been out to the west coast so there are so many things Jon and I are planning to do.  He is so excited to take me to the beach to go surfing and paddling boarding and any water sport he can find! I'm scared I'm going to get eaten by a huge shark, but I've agreed to at least try these sports because I love him and he enjoys them so much! I'm really excited to see the Panda's at the zoo! To go shopping and sight seeing and try some yummy new restaurants! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures. It's going to be amazing to have 9 days together! :)

Hello Blog World!

Here I am starting yet again, redoing my blog, and committing to faithfully update you all with funny entertaining stories about my life.  I guess I can't promise they will all be funny or entertaining but I will try to frequently update! This is definitely a challenge for me, I have tried blogging a few times and failed :( I sit down at my computer to write and face 1 of 2 problems.  I either feel I have nothing to write about and share, or my inner critic takes over and I can not get a sentence written without deleting it.  But I really enjoy reading and following other peoples blogs.  I'm entertained by their stories and inspired by their adventures and encouraged by the lives they all lead.  So I here I go again...
